Heritage in Schools

The Heritage in Schools Scheme provides a panel of 145 heritage specialists who visit primary schools throughout the country. These visits can include talks, demonstrations and outdoor activities. Some of the experts on the panel will be able to talk to your class about bats or other strands of biodiversity. Visits are part funded by The Heritage Council and the school. For full details and to take a look at the specialists available for visits in your area, see www.heritageinschools.ie.

In Northern Ireland our colleagues at the Northern Ireland Bat Group can arrange for a bat specialist to visit your school. Email them here at [email protected].
